EMail Assistant - Getting Started

Step 1. Create account.

Open the setting windows by clicking menu [File]->[Setting] or click the [Setting] button.

Select "smtp.smtp.com" from the table below SMTP Server and click [edit] button, or click [add] . Put in all the needed information.The EMail Assistant will send emails via the SMTP Server.

You need to fill in the SMTP Server name, Account and your Password. If your SMTP Server needs SSL, please select the SSL option (e.g. The smtp.gmail.com needs SSL).

You can add more accounts.

Step 2. Create Your Email Address.

Open the setting windows first by clicking menu [File]->[Setting] or click the [Setting] button.

Select "webouse@gmail.com" from the table below Your Email Address and click [edit] button, or click [add] to add a new one. Put in the email address you want to send messages with. It will appear in the email header.

You need to put in Your Email Address and the Display Name. The replied emails will be sent to this address. The Display Name will appear in the email header.

You can add more Your Email Address.

Step 3. Create Email Content.

Open the setting windows by clicking menu [File]->[Setting] or [Setting] button.

Select [test] from the table below Email Content and click [edit] button, or click [add] to add a new one.

You can type the message in the table right hand. Also you can use other tools to write the message and copy it into the Info table right hand. For example, if you want your messages in html format, just create the message in dreamweaver or frontpage, and copy the codes into the Info table right hand.

You can add different Email Contents.

Step 4. Add email addresses to send.

Click menu [Mail]->[Add List] or click the [Add] button to open the Add mail window.

You can add email address via the following methods, but please make sure only one email address per line.

>>A quick method: click your right mouse button on the email address in IE(or Firefox), and select [copy shortcut] option. The emil address will be added to the mail list (Please make sure that the [Add Mail] window is open).
>>Copy the email address from other place and paste.
>>Type the email address, press enter key on your keyboard, and then type another email address.

Step 5. Select SMTP Server, Your Email Address and Email Content.

If you set more than one SMTP Server, Your Email Address and Email Content, you need to select for each of the three the one you are going to use before sending.

Step 6. Send Email Message.

Simply click the [Start] button will start the sending process.

Before actually sending to your client you can send a test mail. Type the test email address in the test box (right to the [Send a Test] button), and click [Send a Test] button.
